Herschede Hall Clock Company (American, 1902- 1973). Bonnet top mahogany wood tall case clock with Neoclassical style marquetry inlaid decoration throughout in the form of urns amid scrolled foliates, flowers and ribboned swags, inlaid mother of pearl accents scattered throughout, hinged shaped glazed door flanked by fluted tapered columnar supports opens to reveal dial below moon phase with raised gold Arabic numerals within chapter ring, gilt scrolled foliate spandrels, lower center with "Frank Herschede Cincinnati", body with hinged door with oval beveled glass front to show swinging pendulum within, overall supported on lion's paw feet at front, bracket at back. Overall approximate height 84", width 22.5", depth 15.5".
