MARIE ZIMMERMAN Bi-color 14k gold brooch with an enameled amethyst glass disk depicting a Renaissance woman, framed by a row of seed pearls within a row of alternating green gold leaves and bezel-set blue sapphires. Complete with a signed Christmas letter written by Marie Zimmerman to the aunt of the current owner, dated 22 December 1949, and a note in French from Zimmerman"s father, on personalized stationery, dated 25 April 1910. Brooch with maker mark and #1502, in original box; 10.8 gs. 1 5/8" dia.
