He received a B.F.A. and M.A. from the University of Syracuse and has taught at his Alma Mater and the Associated Artists in Syracuse, NY. His distinctive artistic style is recognizable. He was mainly the landscape artist, painting cathedrals, harbors and cityscapes. But he also created several remarkable portraits and the above portrait is one of them. Boison had six one-man shows. He has shown in national and regional exhibits. Starting 1958, he won 18 Art rewards.
