Italian, early 18th century. Two matching Italian Baroque style carved wood, gesso and silver leaf altar candle sticks. Each decorated with 'egg and dart', shell, foliate, and winged cherub decoration throughout front (backs undecorated). Altar sticks with tripod from bases and large candle holder at top. Height 71 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B. Patton, Atlanta, Georgia.
