Large Drop Case. American, ca. 1930. Similar cases appear in H.C. Evans catalogs of the period, gaffed to control the path of the falling marble. 18 ½ x 18 ½ “. Very good. Usually the gaff is located on the outside of the case in the right hand corner, or a panel with nails slides right or left. On this case,a brass plate on the lower left corner of the lid slides right to left, in turn moving the third bar from the top from right to left, thus changing the path of the ball.
