Herrmann, Felix. Felix Herrmann theatre program. For a performance in Buffalo New York, ca. 1910. Billed as “The Great and Only Herrmann,” Felix and his wife Marie appear in two spots on a four-act bill. Nicks and chips at extremities, and one page clipped but with new text pasted in place; penciled-in comments on rear cover state, “Material for program or dodger – Herrman [sic] – Helms programs.” Fair. Felix Herrmann (nee Kretchmann) was Alexander Herrmann’s nephew and a self-appointed successor to the Herrmann name who attained only modest success in vaudeville with his magic act, basically an imitation of his uncle’s routines.
