American, Early 19th century. Large mahogany wood cheval mirror with adjustable rectangular framed looking glass between two columnar shafts with brass architectural capitals and feet on square bases on top of arched legs with brass metal capped feet connected with cylindrical stretcher. Back of mirror with cream and grey fabric backing in with Greek key motif. Height 75.25 inches, width 42.25 inches, depth 21 inches. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr. Thomas V. and Mrs. Marie B.
