General Card Co. Salesman’s Sample. Chicago, ca. 1941. This is a lovely example of a salesman’s sample kit that may have been advertised in Boys’ Life and other youth magazines. The boys would then take these samples and sell door to door in their neighborhood. Packets contain samples, price lists (decks were as low as twenty-three cents), newsletters, order forms and more. Few items missing but mostly complete. Exc.
