Engraved pictorial upper wrapper retained (lacking lower) in modern half-leather, bound out of order (after frontispiece portrait of the author). Illustrated with engravings. 8vo. Scattered light internal wear, frontis. and wrapper chipped around edges, both remargined with clear archival tape. Collates according to Toole Stott 489, but wrapper design differs.
