146. Nu-Power Rising Cards. Colon Michigan, Abbott’s Magic Co., ca. 1955. Selected cards rise from a brass Houlette even though the magician stands some distance from it. 9 ½” high. With instructions and cards. Good working condition. The trick’s title was due to the motive power behind the rising of the cards. Unlike most other versions of the trick, this one does not use magnets, wires, or thread to move the cards.
