157. Powell, Fredrick Eugene. Frederick Eugene Powell’s Fairy Ribbon (stage size). New Haven Connecticut, Petrie & Lewis, ca. 1935. Specially-crafted scissors which allow the magician to cut through a strip of satin ribbon, then restore it. Nickel silver. Hallmarked. With original box and instructions. The printed instructions bear a note stating, “Special Nickel Silver/Belonges to Powell.” A second set of instructions accompanies the prop, and is initialed “F.E.P.”
