Card Sword. New Haven, Petrie & Lewis, Ca. 1930. A selected card is speared on the point of this sword when the pack is thrown in the air. 29 3/8" long. Hallmarked. Lacking tip and elastic (easily replaced), otherwise good condition. 200/300With later models P&L used the shaft of a golf club as the "blade" of its Card Sword, and a cast metal handle. This earlier model is less often encountered.
