[Cups and Balls] Three mahogany Indian-style cups. Brooklyn, Conrad Haden, 1946. Three turned wooden cups for the ancient Cups and Balls trick turned from solid mahogany. Mouth measures 2 3/8" in diameter, cups stand 2 ¼" high. Accompanied by a note in Jay Marshall's hand attesting to the provenance of the cups. Good condition. Haden's reputation was made as a machinist of trick coins and other metal magic tricks. Though examples of Haden-made cups are known in metal, none in wood are known. This set may be unique.
