Cage Production. Maker unknown, ca. 1890. The magician shows a sturdy metal box empty. Upon closing and re-opening its lid, the interior of the box is filled by a substantial nickel-plated cage containing two live canaries. Box measures 8 ¼ x 5 ¼ x 5 ¼". Two hinges on box replaced, one small bar of cage split and bottom of cage soiled from use, but overall very good condition. Scarce.
