Nesbitt, in Chinese costume, presents the smoke vase effect, the smoke curling into the air and forming the text of the design. 19 x 28 ”. Linen backed. A. A direct copy of a famous poster used by Chung Ling Soo, the “Marvelous Chinese Conjurer.” Nesbitt was one of several magicians to attempt to take up Soo’s mantle after the latter’s untimely death on stage.
