Inscribed and signed, “To my friend Richard Cardini with appreciation and good wishes, sincerely yours, Arthur Buckley.” Also inscribed by Cardini: “Swan and myself were invited on two or 3 occasions to where Buckley live in Chicago, and dined very well. Mrs. Buckley and her sister were excellent cooks. After dinner I showed Buckley many moves and effects, and he never asked me permission to publish [sic].
