Rouclere, Harry. Letterpress handbill for Rouclere's first professional performance. 5 ¾ x 8 ½" handbill lists Rouclere as "the only boy magician in the world" and promotes his performance of the "Egyptain [sic] Dagger" trick. Acerkman Print, Paramus, N.J., 1878. Bearing the notation in the lower margin, "Rouclere's first regular Evening performance." Rouclere went on to success as a juggler and magician. He retired to New Jersey where he took up aviation as a hobby and operated the Hotel Rouclere.
