[Thurston] Thurston scrapbook kept by his daughter, Jane. 48-page scrapbook compiled by Jane Thurston, daughter of the famous magician Howard Thurston. Contents all neatly mounted and include press clippings from newspapers, telegrams to Howard Thurston, at least three very personal holographic written to Jane Thurston by her mother Leotha, canceled checks, Thurston's patent for a life saving device, postcards, postal covers addressed in Thurston's hand, and more. Contents range in age, but generally span the years 1912 – 1936. Generally good condition.
