Tarbell, Harlan. Tarbell’s rope spool and photograph. Wooden spool of rope stamped “H. Tarbell” at one end, possibly issued to students of his famous correspondence magic course. Accompanied by a vintage sepia-toned photo of Tarbell showing a rope trick to Adelaide Herrmann. The photograph was taken at the Hotel Rouclere in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Among Tarbell’s most acclaimed feats were his tricks with rope, including his famous Tarbell Rope Mystery.
