Virginia artist Marsden Morse; measures approximately 33-3/4" x 27-1/4" with frame and has a sight image of approximately 26" x 20"; marked on back: "Seated Nude graphite drawing by Marsden Morse 1978". Anne Marsden Morse Williams is renowned throughout the US as a master of post-impressionistic fauvist style landscapes, in a style similar the later works of both Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse. Marsden is an alumna of Westtown Friends School and Connecticut College and received a Master of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University; apparently in good condition.
