Houdini, Harry. One page TLS regarding Houdini's early days as a burlesque show owner. Dated January 31st, 1919, Houdini asks his correspondent to correct an error regarding an appearance in March 1896 at the Palace Theater, Boston and discusses his ownership of the Gaiety Girls: "I had the fonest [sic] cleanest and largest show of its kind on the road that season or any other season before my time." Multiple typographic errors in text, likely personally typewritten by Houdini. Signed "HH." On Houdini's letterhead. Upper left corner clipped; otherwise good condition.
