Vase, Cone, Beans and Orange Trick. Denver, Paul Fox, ca. 1942. Aluminum vase 9 " high, metal cone (also known as a "skittle") and one shell, which allows the performer to perform an elaborate transposition effect between a quantity of dry beans, the skittle and an orange. Possibly unfinished; the solid skittle is actually a wooden mandril used in the metal spinning process with the aluminum shell still affixed to it. With letter of provenance. Very good condition. These props were handed down from Paul Fox to Stewart Judah. From Judah they passed to John Braun. From Braun's collection they were acquired by Harold Puff. Puff presented them to Ken Klosterman.
