Attributed to Camille Gauthier (1870-1963), this transitional Art Deco/ Nouveau marble top buffet was likely manufactured by Gauthier Poinsignon; unsigned; French, circa 1920s; Madagascar Rosewood and walnut; top piece features sliding glass doors to middle housing one glass shelf and featuring a beveled glass mirror back, as well as two cabinet doors to left and right each housing one shelf; bottom features a serpentine front edge, a beveled glass mirror back, and three cabinets; middle cabinet houses two adjustable shelves and cabinets to left and right each house one adjustable shelf and one drawer; grey/ black marble to top of bottom piece; entire piece features carved grape vine and scroll accents throughout as well as Art Nouveau brass handles; keyholes to all cabinet doors (includes key); measures approximately 41-1/2" tall to marble top, 76" tall at tallest point, 78-3/4" wide, and 19" deep; in Very Good condition with very minimal wear.
