Heller, Robert (William Henry Palmer). Autographed note, signed, on Heller letterhead. Dated August 20th, 1878, Heller refers to his upcoming travels from the United Kingdom to the United States, stating, "…my trunks are to be sent Saturday to L'pool for shipment." Good condition. Scarce. Heller died in Philadelphia in November 28, 1878, only three months after this note was penned. His last performance – of magic, music and humor, as was his practice – was given on November 25th at the Philadelphia Concert Hall. With: A sepia-toned 8 x 10" portrait of Heller (one corner clipped in margin) and a later printing (ca. 1920) of an illustrated Heller handbill.
