Edwin Brush's Duck Pan. Maker unknown (American), ca. 1920. Gigantic and heavy nickel-plated faux-cooking dish and lid for the magical production of a live duck. Lid, base and load chamber contain numerous air-holes for the animal. Three bayonet catches secure the load chamber. 12" in diameter. Lacking original bent metal handle, and corrosion to interior of load and top of lid, easily cleaned. 300/500Edwin Brush's greatest successes were as a magician in the Chautauqua and Lyceum fields. He eventually formed a short-lived circuit of his own, the "Cozooqua Series Chautauqua.
