Egyptian Cabinet. London, Hamley & Co., ca. 1895. Any object placed in the drawer of this small ebonized wooden cabinet can be made to vanish or change into another object. A clever sliding panel arrangement hides a second, identical drawer. Similar cabinets were advertised and sold by Martinka and Dickmann. 2 ½ x 2 ½ x 3". Good condition.
