Houdini, Harry. Two Publicity Photos of Houdini Performing Strait Jacket Escape. Circa 1915. Sepia tone photographs show Houdini suspended from rope. In the first he is shown full face with the jacket still on; in the second Houdini has released himself and is disposing of the jacket. Apparently press photos, with edge and back damage to first and substantial loss to margins of second. Former photo with a small triangular mark reading “Basquet photo” at top. 8 x 10” and 9 x 5 ”.
