Chinese, 20th century. Pair of two Dayazhai style porcelain bowls with hand painted enamel decoration based on paintings by the Dowager Empress, each with signature scrolling grapevines with blossoms of peonies and magpie birds perched on a branch against turquoise ground. Each with three red character marks on side of bowl for Daya Zhai, The Studio of the Greater Odes, beside oval cartouche with "Tiandi yijia chun" translating to "The Whole World celebrating as One Family" and with four character marks on base-- "Yongqing changchun" translating to "Eternal Prosperity and Enduring Spring". Each approximate height 2.5", diameter at top 3.4".
