Chinese, Qing Dynasty Kangxi Period mark (1662-1722), likely 20th century. A large porcelain baluster vase with hand painted enamel decoration depicting yellow, green, pink, and blue fu dogs or fu lions of varying size running and leaping through a heavenly blue dreamscape amid cloud scrolls, the focal fu dog in yellow clutching a large ball, likely representing the earth, between its front paws, and another notable lion behind it seemingly blowing out or drawing into its mouth an imperial yellow archaic bat. Underside with six character underglaze blue mark for Kangxi imperial reign. Approximate height 18", diameter 9".
