Pair of hand carved and polychrome wood figural fertility statues or sculptures comprising of a standing man with large domed white hat with black geometric banding, face painted white with stylized black surround, hands on hips, feet bare on circular integral base; woman with vessel on top of head, similar facial coloring as to her partner, exposed breasts, skirt or wrap with white geometric decoration, bare feet on circular base. Each unmarked. Male approximate height 12.6". Female approximate height 13.4".
