Russian, late 19th/early 20th century. Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style diminutive silver hunting dog figurine with sodalite and cloisonné enamel base. Hunting dog figurine with glass eyes, with un-affixed collar surrounded by several fern-like plants, base with circular form of polished sodalite with marbleized blue and white veining, with band of red, blue, green and white cloisonné enamel in floral and dot patterning, with leather on bottom of base. Stamped on base with 84 mark indicating silver, with city arms marker for St. Petersburg; with maker’s mark AT likely for Alfred Thielemann (active 1898-1909). Stamped on rear of hunting dog with 84 indicating silver, and city arms marker indicating St. Petersburg. Approximate height 2.37”, diameter of base 2.31”. Total weight 249 grams.
