Russian, 20th century. Faberge (Russian, founded 1842) style engine turned silver and guilloche enamel match safe (also called match case, match box, or vesta) with engraved and hinged cover, body with three cornflower blue guilloche enamel bands with undulating wave patterning, alternating with engine turned stripes and borders with leaved swags and cascading flowers with ribboned ties. Stamped on bottom and underside of cover with oval containing 84 zolotnik mark indicating silver, with head facing right indicating production after 1908, with triangular delta icon for Moscow; with additional oval containing maker's mark KF in Cyrillic indicating Faberge. Overall approximate length 3.93", diameter at bottom 0.5". Total weight 43.3 grams.
