Liuligongfang Lim. Ed. Pate-de-Verre Dog Sculpture

Liuligongfang (Taiwanese, founded 1987). "New Century of Luck" - 2005, limited edition 3/2880, engraved signature, date, and edition to underside. A Pâte-de-verre diminutive glass sculpture depicting two labrador or hound puppies sitting square and upright and sinking into a pillow form decorated allover with raised meandering floral vines, the clear glass layered with purple, amber, blue, and green. Accompanied with original fitted box, pamphlet about the maker, and poem card "New Century of Luck/ All is new - / Life, / This world, / Our future, / We exist at this pivotal point, / In a new century of luck." Object approximate height 4.25", width 5.125", depth 5".
