Abraham Walkowitz (American, 1878-1965), "Boat on a Beach" - c. 1920, etching on paper, signed in pencil lower left margin. Black on white etching depicting a dry-docked row boat beside a dock house or structure with a single figure at work beside the boat holding a long wooden board with other long wooden boards scattered around the scene and a flowering tree at top right above the structure's door. Verso of work with stamped label noted "Lucille & Walter Fillin" (apparent provenance from the Collection of Lucille and Walter Fillin, Rockville Centre, New York) beside information about the work, also with stamp "New Britain Museum of American Art (Connecticut), 'The Contemporaries... Remember?", February 14 thru March 21, 1976", a round white Christie's inventory tag, and a tag for Zabriskie Gallery "American Prints". Framed approximately 12.75" x 17.375".
