Chinese, 20th century. Figural bronze sculpture with heavy patina throughout and remnants of gilt. Depicting a seated thousand-armed Guanyin (goddess of fertility, wisdom and longevity) with elongated earlobes, with inauspicious single-pointed crown, with eighteen distinguished arms holding various tokens including a torch, wanzi and various weapons and hundreds of additional high relief arms, seated on double lotus base further supported on oval socle base. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 10.5", width 6.75", depth 4.3".
