Federal-style gilt wood pier glass mirror with austere inset cornice with simplistic leaf tip patterned border, with eglomise panel depicting fishermen in waterway surrounded by arched stone bridge, windmill, northern European-style homes and a church with steeple in the distance, with period rectangular plate glass flanked by giltwood reed (or reeded) Doric-style columns. From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia. Note: Eglomise means "glass gilded". The eglomise process entails decorating glass by painting on the back or reverse side.
