Chinese, late 19th early 20th century Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). A collection of two famille rose porcelain items comprising of a large handled mug with bulbous body under flared rim and raised on a round foot with loop form handle to one side, the body decorated on tondo with an interior figural scene depicting courtly figures within a shaped cartouche, further decorated with birds, flowers, and gilt bands; and a low bowl or dish with central basin being decorated with courtly figures in an exterior scene with architecture to the right, the internal rim with a band of cloud scrolls separating red flower blossoms, the exterior unornamented. Mug approximately 5.25" tall, 5.5" wide; dish approximately 1.25" tall, 5.5" diameter. Provenance: From the Estate of Henry G. Muecke Jr., Atlanta, Georgia.
