A primitive elm carved joint stool having a rectangular seat raised on four rectangular-section legs, each with a mortise and wedge joint through the slab seat, the legs united by stretchers. Approximate height 19.6", width 19.25", depth 9". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
