Continental, likely Italian, Late 18th/Early 19th century. Hand embroidered silk textile fragment, likely from a larger cope ecclesiastic garment, with ornate scrolled flowers in peach and pink with green leaves, all highlighted with metallic gold and silver threads and adorned with sequins on champagne gold ground. Unmarked. Overall approximately 40.25" x 25". Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody & Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
