Chinese, Late Qing dynasty. A bronze and cloisonne enamel figural two-part koro, censer, or incense burner modeled as a Taoist dignitary riding a horse, the horse shown standing foursquare with head facing forward, mouth closed and ears pricked, on his back atop which sits the separate figure of a enamel decorated Taoist dignitary, removable. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 19", width 18", depth 4.5".
