Continental, possibly Delft, 19th century or earlier. An unusual blue and white faience pottery earthenware flask or vase having an animal shaped head with circular mouth over a long collared neck with loop handle and bulbous body decorated with continuous scene of running dog, leaping bull and standing bird amidst foliage and rockwork on turned foot. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 7.4", base diameter 2.75".Provenance: From the Estate of Dr. Woody Cobbs and Mrs. Honor Cobbs, Atlanta, Georgia.
