Celadon green glazed pottery figural jug, pitcher or ewer with thick twisted handle on back of shaped body incised with lines connoting fur and whiskers above four paw feet, opening to vessel depicted as mythical figure's open mouth, face with rounded nose above, round eyes, exposed teeth and pointed corners of mouth, possibly a depiction of a stylized guardian lion or foo dog, overall in Jin Dynasty, Yue kiln style or manner. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 7.125", width 12.5", depth 5.75".
