Kittinger Furniture Company (American (Buffalo, New York), founded 1866-present). , circa 1940s. Tall chest of drawers from the 'Mandarin' collection, recently restored in ebony and tortoise high gloss lacquer, finely polished to a hard glass like finish. Chest features five drawers, the top having sliding tray, two drawers with open interiors and two drawers with dividers, the whole having black lacquered Greek key drawer pulls on rectangular plinth. Kittinger Buffalo branded mark to interior top drawer. Approximate height 48", width 36", depth 21".
