Enrico Tarenghi (1848 - 1938). "Nuns in Prayer", watercolor on thick wove paper, signed lower right. Naturalistic genre scene painting depicting many nuns cloaked in white engaged in prayer and thought sitting in and standing before rows of heavy carved wood seats below a massive painting in a church chapel or convent. Framed approximately 27.5" x 23.25". Unframed approximately 20" x 15".
