Probably American, late 19th century. Renaissance Revival style ebonized parlor cabinet, credenza, or sideboard having a shaped breakfront marble inset top over a conforming case with concave sides, the frieze decorated with inlaid interlocking parquetry over a breakfront glazed cupboard door with gilt beading opening to a interior with velvet lined sides and a mirrored floor', flanked to the exterior by foliate carved, fluted and turned pilasters, the concave side doors opening to a velvet lined interior with three conforming gilt beaded shelves (one missing), the whole raised on a conforming plinth base. Approximate height 42", width 59", depth 22".
