Steffen Wolfgang Thomas (German/ American (Georgia), 1906-1990). "Male and Female Forms", oil on wood panel, left panel signed and indistinctly inscribed, right panel signed. Panels are joined by frame featuring ionic columns. Panels depicting male and female Greek or Roman statues surrounded by ionic columns; the male is shown in profile, while the female is shown facing the viewer head on, each are depicted in draped robes. Panels approximately 11.75" x 3.5". Framed approximately 21.25" x 15.62" x 1.75". Provenance: From the Private Collection of Ann Jacob of Highlands, North Carolina.
