Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985). "David Saved by Michal" - c.1960 from "The Bible Series", lithograph in colors on wove paper, published by Mourlot (Paris), unsigned. Depiction in print of the Old Testament Bible story from 1 Samuel 19 where David is aided in his escape from the murderous Saul by his wife Michal who helps him out of their home through a window under the cover of night. Framed approximately 21.5" x 17.875". Sight size approximately 13.75" x 9.875".
