Continental School, 20th century. Pair of complementary Dresden style hand painted and gilt accented porcelain figural candlesticks with woman and man rendered in 18th century fashion. Woman with floral motif and holding apron in hand, opposite hand holding small pink flower. Man with hat, walking stick and floral accented jacket and short trousers. Each mounted on later black circular wood stand. Underside of porcelain figural candlesticks with blue M (on man), and two blue Ms (on woman). Overall height 11.25", diameter of base 4.8".
