Large Italian blown clear glass chandelier with gold aventurine attributed to Barovier & Toso, Murano, Italy comprising a baluster shaped standard with gold leaf tip, diamond optic pattern and applied ruffled rigaree above a circular tapering standard arising from a similarly shaped and decorated bowl issuing alternating leafy twisted branches and flowering stems from the center, the rim mounted with 6 scrolled, spiral candlearms ending in bowl form bobeches with leaf tip style trim hung with rings and formed tassels alternating with down-turned acanthus leaves, the whole ending in tapering ruffled base hung with tassel. Height 43", width 36".
