American, Early 20th century. Hand crafted inlaid two tiered table with square top in bird's eye maple and mahogany with inlaid eight pointed web form cartouche surrounding radiating star motif at center accented with fern leaf pattern in four corners above apron with elongated cartouches and shaped accents supported on four carved and turned legs with feather ornament above cross stretcher shelf with additional undulating inlaid ornament and shaped accented on apron supported on four outswept splayed legs. Underside of table with remnant of label with handwritten text that reads "Made by E.D. Clifford and given to my wife, Susan on our 5 anniversary, October 30, 1906. Overall approximate height 30.125" x 29" square.
